Before you scroll- let's break down pricing.
I want to take a minute to help you understand pricing- and what goes into your photo session.
For example: the labor alone required for a family session:
- 30 minutes or more of admin time communicating and setting up booking
- 30-45 minutes of driving each way
- 1 hour or more of professionally guided shooting
- 3-5 hours of professional editing/retouching (I could do it a lot faster if I didn't care about your images)
- 30 minutes of admin time exporting, uploading, and sending your gallery
So for example if I charged $250 a session that would break down into just $31 per hour- but that's only considering labor. Is that enough? Let's see...
I also have to:
- Pay taxes
- Carry liability insurance
- Pay for website hosting
- Spend hundreds in advertising monthly (Anywhere from $800-$2000 depending on the season)
- Pay for several professional grade software licenses
- Buy endless cloud storage back up to make sure your photos are safe
- Invest in up to date gear that cost thousands of dollars
- Pay for my studio space
Also consider that this is a business I cannot farm out my creative business to random employees who happen to know how a camera works. My work is my work because it's me controlling every aspect of the process. Handing editing or principal camera work to someone else is a death sentence for a photography business.
We offer a premium fine art experience from beginning to end.

FAQ
What can we expect during our session?
Typically for portrait sessions, we will meet at the agreed upon location and will introduce ourselves. Once we get to the first photo spot we will start with standard poses to get you comfortable in front of the camera and then we will pose you. If you’re wanting specific photos, it’s a good idea to make a list and to share these inspiration photos with us. We don’t duplicate others work but we will gladly follow inspiration with our own style.
Don’t worry too much about poses. We are professional photographers and that is literally our job to pose and give you directions! We also always tell our clients, some poses might feel awkward when you’re doing them, but the end result is always stunning. Always trust your photographer!
Can we change outfits?
Yes absolutely, we recommend limiting it to 2 for an hour session. However for individual portraits you could get away with 2-4.
Do you deliver sneak peeks?
We typically do not unless an image is needed right away! Just let us know if that is the case and we will accommodate as best as we can.
Can we bring our furry loved ones?
We love capturing your furry loved ones! Just keep in mind that you will need someone to hold the leash for photos without your pet(s). We also try to limit these to two animals per session. This will help keep your session running smoothly!
Do you offer studio sessions?
Yes we own our own studio on San Marco Boulevard.
How should we prepare for our session?
We ask that you arrive to your session at least 10 minutes early. Many of our sessions take place during golden hour so you will also want to be mindful of traffic when traveling to your destination.
We also recommend making sure everyone in your group is well fed, rested and uses the restroom prior to the session. This is especially helpful with little ones so they are ready for their photos!
If you need to bring personal items with you, we recommend that you bring a bag or purse to carry with you. It is also a good idea to keep your wallets, car keys, and phones in this bag so they aren’t visible in your pants pockets.
Having treats, snacks and/or juice on hand is also a good idea to encourage the little ones to pose for their photos to get their reward at the end.
If you would like recommendations for hairstylist and make up artist services, we will be happy to share our preferred vendor list with you!
Lastly, we just want you to be able to relax and have fun with your session. We have a family of 5 and we are well aware of the hard work that goes into preparing for a session but once you’re taking your photos it will all be easy, breezy, and so worth it!
