Lincoln is the one behind the camera capturing your session and carefully editing each image, while Ligaya keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes—managing communication, social media, and making sure every client has a wonderful experience from start to finish.
Together, we’ve had the privilege of photographing so many incredible families, couples, and milestones over the years.
As parents of three amazing daughters, we know just how quickly life moves and how meaningful it is to preserve these moments. Whether it’s welcoming a newborn, celebrating family, or capturing a special season of life, we love helping people tell their story through timeless, natural photographs.
About Lincoln
Lincoln grew up on the West Coast and is a California native who has called Jacksonville home since 2005. A blues guitarist raised in a creative household, he developed an early appreciation for storytelling through art. That creative background naturally evolved into a passion for photographing people and capturing meaningful moments.
About Ligaya
Ligaya is a Jacksonville native who loves helping create the welcoming, thoughtful experience Thistle Photo Co. is known for. She is deaf and reads lips, and plays a key role in supporting clients and making sure every session feels smooth, comfortable, and memorable from start to finish.
Why choose Thistle?
There are hundreds of photographers in the Jax metro area- many of whom are more than capable of producing excellent work. However, where they often fall short is professionalism, lack of real structure to their sessions, and an inability to adapt to new environments or lighting situations. There are somethings that can take years of experience to learn in photography- and unfortunately, many things that are truly not teachable because it comes down to personality.
We approach sessions with kindness, preparedness, and a decade of experience that enables a truly seamless experience from booking to the moment you receive your photos. We don't use sketchy dropbox links, we don't use Venmo, and we aren't going to sell you a service that we cannot perform.
